T.T.T.TV. (May 9)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

A Season Premiere, a Season Finale and a Seasoned Human Corpse

1. Community (NBC 8/7c)

In my mind this season of Community has been a hit. I don't know how the ratings are doing and I know it is very unlikely that it comes back for another season but I do know I'll be watching if they do. If this is the last ever Community episode I hope it goes out with a bang and from the preview at least Jeff will have to stand up to his worst enemy, himself.

2. Hannibal (NBC 10/9c)

Last week we saw Jack and Graham chasing down the Chesapeake Ripper and what they discovered was far more interesting. It turns out that the actual killer (Hannibal) had recorded Jack's protegee telling him she was scared and then killed her. And to prove that Eddie Izzard was indeed not the Chesapeake Ripper Hannibal called Jack (without him knowing) and played the recording. If that wasn't enough he decided to give the FBI a hand with the investigation (he literally left Miriam's hand at the observatory for the FBI to find). It looks like they are hot on the trails of Hannibal but I'm sure he wont go down without a fight.Plus we get a nice cameo from Gillian Anderson, what more could we ask for?

3. Wipeout (ABC 8/7c)

Do you enjoy watching people get hit in the face and take tremendous falls? If you do then we should be friends, but also you should watch this TV show. I laugh every episode and although it doesn't really ever change (the obstacles change quite often but people are always getting smashed) the show is always entertaining.

I will be doing this post Sunday to Thursday because there is nothing good on TV Friday and Saturday. If you want to follow me on Twitter or send me some feedback follow me at @AJ_Trevor

T.T.T.TV. (May 2)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

A Community College, a Killer and a Bunch of Nerds

1. Community (NBC 8/7c)

Last weeks body switching episode was probably the best way they could have tackle something so odd. But they did it and did it well. Tonight's episode is called, Heroic Origins, and for me that only means one thing, the return of Abed's Batman. I hope it's the return of Abed's Batman, I really do.

2. Hannibal (NBC 10/9c)

This show is so gory that an NBC affiliate in Utah decided that they weren't going to air it anymore (that affiliate also took A New Normal off the air so it isn't saying much). And while watching last weeks episode I definitely had a few gross out moments but the acting and writing are so good I got over it pretty quickly. This week we get a special treat as Eddie Izzard plays a psychopath killer locked up like Silence of the Lambs and Will has to figure out if he is really the Chesapeake Killer.

3. The Big Bang Theory (CBS 8/7c)

Bob Newhart guest stars as Sheldon's childhood hero, Professor Proton and you can only imagine how awkward and weird Sheldon will make it.

T.T.T.TV. (April 25)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Troy and Abed and Hannibal and Sheldon on a Thursday

1. Hannibal (NBC 10/9c)

I heard that they were pulling the new episode of Hannibal due to the horrible events that happened in Boston but from what I am reading now it looks like we will be getting a new episode.

Hannibal is a great new show and the thing that puts this show above other network horror shows, is the acting. Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen and Laurence Fishburne all stand above other actors on network TV right now. Then you take into consideration the stories that they deal with, this episode they will be searching for a murderer who cuts the back flesh of his victims and stretches it out in order to look like wings. That's some mature stuff right there.

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

This season has been hit or miss, any week you can get a great episode or you're in for a boring 22 minute ride. This week it looks like Leonard is ahead of Shirley and Annie in the valedictorian race and they decide that they need a plan to deal with him. Meanwhile high jinks ensues when Troy and Abed re-enact a scene from a body switching movie. I wonder which body switching movie it is? Freaky Friday? Wish Upon a Star? Or is it The Change-Up?

3. The Big Bang Theory (CBS 8/7c)

Sheldon gets upset and needs Amy to console him when one of his favorite TV shows gets canceled without a satisfying ending. We all know how he feels.

T.T.T.TV. (April 18)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

NBC All Night Long

1. Hannibal (NBC 10/9c)

The FBI agent, Jack Crawford, thinks the recovering coma patient helped her dad murder and eat the women they found dead in the first episode. Jack gets Hannibal to escort Abigail (coma girl) back to her house and when they get there they discover a copycat killer has murdered one of her friends. Will Hannibal contact Jack or will he take things into his own hands?

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

Tonight's episode is called Intro to Knots, which tells me nothing about it and I couldn't find a trailer on YouTube so I really don't know what is going to happen this episode. But just for fun here are some predictions: Dean Pelton will wear a dress. Britta will Britta the episode and Troy and Abed will be the only cast members that make me laugh.

3. Parks and Recreation (NBC 9/8c & 9:30/8:30c)

Patton Oswalt is guest starring on one of the two episodes tonight and the best part of his appearance is a scene you wont see on the show but you can catch it on YouTube. Here he is filibusterering the local council meeting and his ideas are completely genius hopefully we get a little of this in the episode.

T.T.T.TV. (April 11)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

A Spy, a Killer and a Study Group

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

In the season finale Archer and the ISIS team go underwater to a laboratory and Archer puts everyone's life at risk with a nonsensical act of aggression, which really isn't a new thing. The fourth season has stacked up to the previous seasons but I do love the show and cannot wait to see how the season ends.

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

An episode that is completely puppets? This sounds like the new show runners trying to be an awful lot like Dan Harmon. I will give the show the benefit of the doubt because it is one of my favorite shows but it has already proven that it can be hit or miss on themed episodes (hit: the convention episode; miss: the Halloween episode). I know Donald Glover and Daniel Pudi will make me laugh I just need the whole cast to make me laugh again.

3. Hannibal (10/9c)

I still haven't seen the first episode but Hannibal gets the third spot because of all the good things I've heard. The acting is supposedly terrific and it isn't played like the movies which makes it sound really intriguing. When I get around to watching it I have no doubt that I will like it, even if horror is my least favorite genre.

T.T.T.TV. (April 4)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Dean Pelton, Sterling Archer and Hannibal Lecture

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

Last week's pope episode wasn't the best, it actually might have been on of the least funny episodes of it's entire run. However, it is still Archer and with it's track record one can only believe it will be back to it's obscure references and toilet humor in no time.

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

This weeks episode is called 'Herstory of Dance' which can only mean one thing, Britta is doing her feminist thing. It looks like she will be putting together a dance to compete against the Sadie Hawkins dance that Dean Pelton is putting on. I guess Britta really doesn't want women to be the ones who ask others to dances.

3. Hannibal (NBC 10/9c)

I've only ever seen the character Hannibal Lecture in Silence of the Lambs and I wouldn't necessarily have guessed that character would be good for TV but it seems that's the case. What I've heard about the show is it is better than the other Horror shows that have been put out recently including Bates Motel (my favorite Horror TV show). I guess I will have to give the critics the benefit of the doubt and check this out even if just the name Hannibal scares me. Also Lawrence Fishburne is in this!

T.T.T.TV. (March 21)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Troy and Abed and Archer and Meredith Grey on a Thursday

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

This season has had some of the best episodes in the four seasons it's been on the air and last week was easily one of them. This week Lana and Archer are sent to Morocco to extract an agent, little do they know the agent walks on all fours and likes to piss outside, and I'm not talking about Lindsey Lohan.

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

Last weeks Changnesia episode was kind of a let down. I wasn't surprised to see that Chang is just fooling everybody and I would be surprised if the guy he was talking to on the phone was the dean of the air conditioning college, John Goodman. This week it looks like the group is trying to help the college land a rich student that if he were to enroll would add a bunch of money to the school. Let's go Greendale!

3. Grey's Anatomy (ABC 9/8c)

Grey's makes its first appearance in the TTTV because of a slow night in the TV world but also because the Jackson is the boss story line is getting good. You have a whole bunch of extremely experienced and talented having to listen to the young upstart. It is a great dynamic. This week we find out if Dr. Shepard can handle a pregnant wife (my guess is yes) and if the baby is a boy, girl or antelope (hoping for antelope). The only thing that could stop this show is if Independence Day aliens came to earth and blew up the hospital.

T.T.T.TV. (March 14)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Spies, Scientists and Dean Pelton

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

This season of Archer has been hilarious, if it keeps up the pace it could be one of the best animated comedies ever. This week's episode looks like it is going to have it's moments. Archer being told Lana is in charge, Archer drop kicking a man with a bucket on his head, and he gives up Lana to the bad guys in the first moment of danger. I mean, what more could you ask for from an Archer promo.

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

I have been laughing a whole lot more during the last few episodes and I'm really hoping they can continue what ever it is that the new show runners have hit on. (The solution seems to be more Troy and Abed.) I loved that they even split the cast up and had two story lines going but it seemed the Jeff story line might have been better just by having Adam DeVine guest star. This week we have the Dean try's to get the gang to help Chang get his memory back. I'm not the biggest Change fan so let's hope this episode isn't to over the top.

3. The Big Bang Theory (CBS 8/7c)

Sheldon has to attend a dinner party. Only extreme hilarity can ensue, am I right?

T.T.T.TV. (March 7)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

The King of the Nerds Will be Crowned, Community Meets Chang, Again, and Sterling Archer Being Sterling Archer

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

On a mission to stop some immigrants comin into America, Sterling decides that one of the immigrants is too hot so he changes his mind and saves them all. Did I mention one of the immigrants is a old lady with an oozie.

2. King of the Nerds (TBS 10/9c)

The season finale is here and the final four are Danielle, Ivan, Celeste and Genevieve. My personal choice to win would be Danielle but of the four remaining she seems like the least intelligent. Let's go dumb nerds!

3. Community (NBC 8/7c)

Last week was another bounce back episode for Community. I love that we got to see a couple of instances where other people weren't able to use the study room because the group was having one of their long drawn out arguments. The only thing I'm skeptical about bring back Ken Leung. He was great in the first few seasons but with how the story ended last year they could have moved a different way, maybe had him come through every once and awhile. But no, Chang is back and he has Chang-nesia. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

T.T.T.TV (Feb. 28)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Spy Games, Nerd Games, and a Little Community

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

Right now Archer is easily the best TV show airing. If you like dry humor, really old references and over the top antics then you will like this show. Between Krieger, the crazy Doctor, and  Cheryl, the slutty masochist of a receptionist you couldn't ask for more over the top. This week's episode has Anthony Bourdain as a special guest and it looks like Archer is going to have to do some cooking. You know what they say if you can't stand the heat, send in Sterling Archer and he will burn the place down (no one says that).

2. King of the Nerds (TBS 10/9c)

With the finale approaching fast and all the "best" nerds (except for Ivan) are gone, it looks like it will come down to Ivan destroying the competition. With all but a few episodes left get in on this embarrassment of riches that is King of the Nerds. Not to mention there are a couple pretty attractive nerds on this show.

3. Community (NBC 8/7c)

Last week's episode was the best of this early fourth season. It put the two best characters in the fore front and the rest of the cast was at their best. They probably could have found a better guest star to play Abed's pen pal but I am not complaining. Now, all I'm hoping is that they have hit their stride and we can only expect for the season to get better. Troy and Abed getting better!

T.T.T.TV (Feb. 21)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

A Spy, a Councilwoman and a Study Group

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

This season has been getting better and better every episode. Now that we know Barry is coming back that can only mean that Sterling is in for it. When that will happen who knows, what I do know (from the video) is that Cyril, Ray and Archer are in the desert and they look stranded. If they don't get out (they will) then at least we get a Archer is hallucinating joke or two.

2. Parks and Recreation (NBC 8:30/7:30c & 9/8c)

Last week on Parks and Rec Leslie's fundraiser went off without a hitch, that's if you call killing the whole town in a test of your city's emergency procedures. This week the game has been stepped up and we will get to see Leslie and Ben get married. With the season ending soon and it possibly being the last season, all I hope for is more episodes that will give us some sort of conclusion.

3. Community (NBC 8/7)

The Halloween episode was a disappointment and I have liked this season less and less each episode (there have only been two). I will stick with it until the end and will hope with all hope that it will get better, but if last week was any indication this show will slip out of my top three pretty soon.

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone at Home Watching TV

1. Archer (FX 10/9c)

A Valentine's day episode can only mean one thing, Archer will be dropping some hilarious heart filled puns and/or insults.

2. Community (NBC 8/7c)

Since Community was held back from its original air date, in October, it looks like we get a special Halloween episode on Valentine's day. During the first three seasons I would have been so excited for a Halloween episode but since the first episode was lackluster I am worried that the season wont hold up. I will definitely be sticking out all season, no matter how painful it gets.

3. The Big Bang Theory (CBS 8/7c)

Leonard Hofstadter is The Romance Ninja!

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Community and only Community

1. Community! (NBC 8/7c)

Sure there might be other shows on tonight, there might even be really good shows on tonight, but there is only one show on TV right now (season 4 premieres tonight) that I will sit through commercials to support. So I won't be preview any other show because there is no point .

Not only is it my favorite show on TV, it is also one of the least watched and there is a good chance his will be the last season. So if you haven't seen it and you're one of those people who like to eat endangered species before they are extinct than I recommend you jump on this Koala of a TV show.

Now in honor of Community's forth season here are a couple of video clips:

Year in Preview: TV

2013 Preview

TV

Here is a list of the TV shows I am most excited about in 2013.

1. Breaking Bad (Summer)

The final eight episodes will be airing in the summer and all the fans know is that at some point Walter White will have a beard and a big f'n gun. What he does with it is still up in the air but I am super excited to find out.

2. Game of Thrones (Mar. 31)

Ever since I heard this series came from a book I've done everything in my power to not read the books and have enjoyed the TV show every bit for it. The new characters look interesting. We finally get to see the leader of the raiders and Arya is all growned up.

3. Community (Feb. 7)

This season might be the last one for community and all I have to say about that is, Troy and Abed should get a spin-off.

4. Justified (Jan. 8)

Raylan Givens is back and ready to kick the crap out of crime. Last season their seemed to be a lack of shooting people for no reason except he said he would so I wonder whether they stick to that rode or go back to the cop that shoots first, second and third and then asks questions.

5. The Following (Jan. 21)

Kevin Bacon is a ex-FBI agent brought back in to track down a mad man who has assembled a group of serial killers. James Purefoy plays the killer and it seems like that he was made for the role.

6. Archer (Jan. 17)

The worlds greatest spy is back to get drunk, sleep with random women and demean his butler.

7. Spartacus: War of The Damned (Jan. 25)

If you have followed the three other seasons then you probably know exactly what to expect from the finale season of the series. If you haven't then let me fill you in, there is sex, nudity, blood, fighting, gladiators and much more. Well, actually that's pretty much it but I can't wait to see how they cap the series.

 8. Eastbound and Down (Date TBD)

In my TV Review post I mentioned that the last season of Eastbound and Down was the last season. Only to realize that it was in fact picked up for a fourth season and I can't be any happier that I was wrong. Are Kenny and April be together and raise their kid? Probably not but what else do you expect from the baddest bad ass of the all.

9. Defiance (April)

SyFy istrying really hard to go back to the science fiction genre with this show and it looks like they might have succeeded. The show is about a bunch of alien races trying to move to our planet when thier sun exploded. Will we be as hostile as the Americans are to the Mexicans when they try to come in to their country? Probably.

10. The Family Tools (May 1)

I couldn't find a new comedy I was excited about, and then their was this. I am still not to excited to see it but just for the sole purpose of employing Leah Remini they get the 10th spot.
