Big Brother Canada Recap: Episode 29

Big Brother Canada Recap

The Best Worst Ending Possible

The first season of Big Brother Canada came to an end last night and we finally found out who would take home the grand prize. To find out who, where, what, why and when keep reading.

Head of Household

The last Head of Household competition of the season is the most important. It is a three part challenge that spans more than one day and the winner would have the privilege of choosing who they would go up against in the final two.

Part One

Competition: No Blood On My Hands

The first part of the three part HoH competition was a stamina challenge and the winner would get a free pass to the third part of the challenge. Each contestant had to stand on a platform, on top of a air ball, and hold a pole that kept a bucket of "blood" from falling on their heads. The bucket ended up being a lot heavier than the contestants thought and after four plus hours Emmet was the last person standing.

Winner: Emmet

Part Two

Competition: Big Brother Big Top

The second of the three challenges was a timed physical challenge that only Jillian and Gary would compete in. The game was basically a giant game of ring toss. Each ring had a name of a previous HoH winner and they had to throw them on to the numbered cone that corresponds with when the player was HoH. The only thing standing between the rings and the cones was set of monkey bars that hey had to cross in order to get back and forth. The game wasn't close and even with a 30 second penalty Gary beat Jillian by four minutes.

Winner: Gary

Part Three

Competition: Pre-Game Strategy True or False

The third challenge, between Emmet and Gary, was a simple true or false game. Arisa would give a quote from some of the evicted house guests interviews from before the season started and the contestants had to figure out whether the quote was actually said by the player. It was tied until the last question with Gary ending up as the winner and the person with the most poer in the house.

Winner: GARY!

In Memoriam

Emmet

The Incredible Milk, you were one of my favorites to win and it was sad to see you go but in keeping Gary you sealed your fate. The only person that could beat you in a physical challenge should have been the first to go. You never said much and you honestly had the whole house on your side at one point in the game or another, as one of the biggest threats that is a huge accomplishment. You got rid of exactly who you needed to, exactly when it was necessary and that is why you got so far in the game. You can leave the game knowing that it was less a mistake and more Gary's great last minute move that ended your game. Farewell Milkman.

GLITTER GARY

This is the second time in my recaps that I have had to write one of these for Gary and just to keep this post a little short I will link to that post here. But as long as were here I would like to repeat one of my sentiments from the last Gary 'In Memoriam' and that is that you are such a great role model and it is only a compliment to what kind of person you are that you came into this house, were exactly who you are and ended up one messed up vote away from winning it all. Congratulations on your victory in life and in the Big Brother house.

Big Brother Canada Season 1 Winner

Jillian

After ten long weeks, a lot of backstabbing and a couple on controversial moments we finally have the winner of the first season of Big Brother Canada. She was one of the best competition players and had a decent social game. She was part of a visible two person alliance the whole game and wasn't nominated once. She was never anyone's target and although she was the reason for most of the jury members being evicted she still had three solid votes and only needed one person to mess up in order for her to win. All in all she deserved the win for playing a strong, smart game. The circumstances may have been a little controversial but in order to be one of the final two you had to have done something right.

Controversy

So I have hinted at a little controversy that took place on the finale and I just wanted to get my two cents out in the air.

If you didn't watch last night during the the final vote in which the Jury votes for who they want to win(as opposed to voting for who they want evicted which they have done all season), Topaz mistakenly(?) made her vote for Jillian. After Arisa read Topaz's vote aloud Topaz jumped out of her seat in the Jury box and walked over to Arisa, on live TV, and told her that there was a mistake and that someone had changed her vote. After a commercial break we were shown video proving that in fact Topaz had chosen Jillian's key and placed it in the nomination box. To the dismay of every Gary fan in Canada and Topaz herself (who asked to redo the vote on numerous occasions) that one vote was the deciding one and ended up making Jillian the winner.

Here are my thoughts on that whole situation:

- I think Topaz was too excited and too focused on her speech and being on live TV that in the heat of the moment she just picked the wrong key. The whole "150%" thing just made her look real bad.

- The fact that she wanted to redo the votes or that some fans think that if Emmet or Talla had made that mistake Big Brother would have allowed it is ludicrous. Since the very first season of Big Brother U.S. this has always been the way the finale worked and I'm almost positive that the Jury members were explained it by the producers again before the live show.

- When Topaz was evicted Arisa made it seem as though Topaz was a student of the game and had watched many seasons of the U.S. version but I think this just proves otherwise. Any person that has watched more then one season of any of the Big Brother seasons know that the final vote is for the person you want to win. It's even the case in other reality shows like Survivor.

Random Thoughts

- Is it just me or did Part one of the last HoH competition look like a scene from Dexter?

- The Jury house fire scene proved to me just how smart Peter, Alec and Andrew were and how Talla, AJ, and Topaz had nothing to say ever or were just uninteresting.

- The final part of the HoH competition was a little upsetting since it was basically a guessing game. Even if they grew to knew the other house guests how would they be able to know what each persons strategy coming into the game.

- This time I'm sure Gary dropped on F bomb on live TV.

- I'm not sure how the Jury questions were done but it seemed like some were written for them (Talla) and it seems like others were completely there own doing (Peter). I wonder if they had to be approved by producers beforehand?

- Peter's question to Jillian was easily the best one of the night and on top of the great Q, he also called her Villian. Great name.

- I know it was due to a lack of time and the show being live but I think the fact that the last chance pleas from the contestants were rushed made it more dynamic. Big Brother US should think about rushing there final two.

- I wonder if they started saying Glitter Gary in the final episode because there is actually somebody who calls himself Gary Glitter who is pretty famous. I don't remember them ever calling him Glitter Gary before.

- The returning non-jury members of the cast were there and didn't add much to anything, much like their time in the house. Who's Kat?

Running Cast Grade: C+
(Last Episode: C+)

The first season ended with a bang and whether or not you agree with who won is pointless because the season and the finale were full of great moments. If you look back to the first Big Brother US i'm sure you can find faults and things you don't like but it was the beginning of something great and it took more then one season for it to catch on. When you take into consideration the fact that the first season of Big Brother Canada was way better than the first US season then you have to see a bright future for this franchise, well at least I do.

*Programming note: I will be doing a Big Brother Canada season recap this weekend that will be posted either late this weekend or early next week.

Big Brother Canada Recap: Episode 28

Big Brother Canada Recap

The Night Before The End

The second last episode of the season has all the makings for a great episode filled with tension. There is four players left and only three will go on to Thursday's finale, which means the house guests are in for a surprise eviction (Arisa told us that Sunday). Who is going to win the Veto and secure themselves safely in the final three? And now that we are so close, who is going to win it all?

In Memoriam
(Remembering the evicted house guest.)

Talla

LOVE IT! Arisa kept trying to make us believe that you were a lot more cunning than you let on. She told us more then once that you knew what you were doing in the game and must have been playing dumb the whole time. I would love to believe her but I saw far too much of Talla "playing dumb" and very little cunning and strategic Talla. Your drunk lap dances, Topaz kisses and tirades made the season a little more enjoyable. Drunk Talla, Angry Talla and Zombie Talla, all took turns entertaining Canada and you will all be missed. Thank you Talla for showing us people from Alberta can be as brain dead as anyone from Canada.

Power of Veto
(Winning the Power of Veto means you can change one of the nominations.)

Competition: Safe From Eviction

The premise of this game is to open the safe to earn the Veto. The combination for the safe has to be found by using Big Brother equations (Tom's HoH's + the day Danielle was nominated =?) and then find a money bag with the corresponding number. After the players has the three money bags with the three numbers they can go and try their combination in the safe.

Winner: Emmet

Ceremony: Emmet didn't use the Power of Veto, keeping the nominations the same.

Random Thoughts
(Here are some of my random thoughts.)

- I don't know why anyone ever says they feel safe on this show. No one is ever safe in Big Brother.

- I think this is the first episode where they bleeped a caption of the F-word.

- Jillian has been playing for her and Emmet while Emmet has always been playing for himself and if he takes Gary to the final 2 I wouldn't be surprised if Jillian strangles him to death.

- Talla thought 4=3=5 all through high school?

- The best move in the game might have been Emmet giving Talla Dan's bracelet. Even if he doesn't get her vote in the end it was a great play. It's like a hail Mary that is still flying through the air and we will have to wait until tonight to find out if it is a touchdown or not.

Running Cast Grade: C+
(Last Episode: C)
(Grading the cast on an episode to episode basis.)

The last episode is nearing and as for entertainment value, we have none. The closest thing that could possibly become contentious is if Emmet decides to take Gary to the final two over Jillian. For Emmet's game it is probably the best move but if he actually has feelings for her and wants a future, it's definitely not his best move. Emmet is my pick for winner but Jillian or Gary could steal it by winning the next HoH and evicting him or simply by outgunning him in the final speeches to the jury. If I was to guess I would say that tonight's finale will be good but not great, unless the Jury decide to be pricks and bring the big guns. But then again Canadians are way too nice and will all probably say thanks for the memories and then that'll be it. Can we please get a Jury fist fight or something?

T.T.T.TV. (May 1)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Spies, Psychics and Canadians

1. The Americans (FX 10/9c)

The season finale is finally here. What is going to happen? Is it the end of Directorate S? Is Nina going to get revenge on Stan? If she does, will she survive the rest of the episode after admitting to the betrayal of her country? Will the fake wedding blow up in Phillips face? Where does this season end?

It sucks that this means that we will have to wait a whole year before we get more Americans but at least it got a second season and didn't have a fate like Terriers or Lights Out.

2. Psych (USA Network 10/9c)

Shawn Spencer is running for Mayor, do I need to say anything else?

3. Big Brother Canada (Slice 8/7c)

Ladies and gentlemen the inaugural season of Big Brother Canada is coming to an end this week and with that being said, watch it! In order for me to get on a subsequent edition this season needs to have really good ratings. So for the 12 people that will read this post, tune in to the last few episodes of season 1 of Big Brother Canada. Do it for me.

I will be doing this post Sunday to Thursday because there is nothing good on TV Friday and Saturday. If you want to follow me on Twitter or send me some feedback follow me at @AJ_Trevor

Big Brother Canada Recap: Episode 27

Big Brother Canada Recap

Life After Andrew

We are now speeding towards the finish line with the final four. Emmet and Jillian have been in complete control of the house since Alec was evicted and they have made the East Coast alliance. Talla still has no idea what it means to be in the final three and Gary is more interested in what he looks like then how he is playing the game. There is a week left and if you are a fan of the show hold on and keep watching because even if the finale is lackluster we want the ratings to be high enough to get a second season.

Head of Household
(The HoH has all the power in the house.)

Jillian

Jillian earned the HoH power by getting as many true or false questions as both Talla and Gary wrong. The competition ended in a tiebreaker and like pretty much the rest of the contest Jillian won by guessing better than Gary or Talla, which I don't know if that sort of circumstance should ever be rewarded. She got the ire of the house because they had to see her HoH room for the fourth time but really should they be mad at her or mad at themselves for not winning more competitions. Jillian used her power to make a (fake) final two deal with Talla and also securing the idea that she will not go to the final two with Emmet when she clearly is only taking Emmet. When the season ends if she is in the final two I hope the jury can overlook her broken promises and see how good of a game she played when it came to the competition side of things.
Nominees
(The two players currently nominated for eviction.)

Gary - I don't know who is the pawn and who is the target this week and at this point the only person who can decide that is the person who wins the Power of Veto (if it isn't the HoH). Gary looks to have the best chance if Emmet wins the PoV but if Talla wins her first competition it could be the end of Gary.

Talla - If Talla decided to win her first competition she could control her fate going into the final three. The more likely thing that will happen is that Talla will not win the PoV and end up just floating her way to the Jury house.
Big Brother Canada Awards
(Canada voted on some of the best moments this season.)

Best House Entrance
Nominees: Talla Walks in Backwards & Gary says Hi to Danielle's big boobs
Winner: Talla walks down the stairs backwards

Best Costume
Nominees: Andrew's French Maid & Jillian Evil Dead Outfit
Winner: Andrew's French Maid

Best Freak Out
Nominees: Suzette on Aneal & Talla 1-9-1-9-9
Winner: Talla 1-9-1-9-9

Best Alter Ego
Nominees: Gary as Zoe Winbur & Alec as Ricardo
Winner: Gary as Zoe Winbur

Best Kiss
Nominees: Emmet and Jillian & Andrew and AJ
Winner: Andrew and AJ

Best Dramatic Cry
Nominees: Aneal's Sympathy Cry & Gary Goes on Slop
Winner: Gary Goes on Slop

Random Thoughts
(Here are some of my random thoughts.)

- The HoH competition this week was pretty much a guessing game, unless you want to believe Talla that she was the only one who knew the actual answers.

- Emmet is the most self aware person in the house and the way he played Talla after she got upset was the reason he should win this season.

Running Cast Grade: C
(Last Week: C)
(Grading the cast on an episode to episode basis.)

I don't know about you, but I already know who I want to win and it is pretty simple at this point. The winner of Big Brother Canada should be Emmet and there is no arguing unless you have decided who to root for based solely on who you like more. Emmet has played the best social game, he has had more alliances than anyone and hasn't really burnt any bridges or gotten any blood on his hands. Not only that but he has played one of the best physical games as well winning HoH more times than anyone except for Jillian. If he doesn't make it to the finale I will be shocked and won't root for any of the other people who really don't deserve it.

Big Brother Canada Recap: Episode 26

Big Brother Canada Recap

Andrew vs. Talla

This season has been pretty good if you compare it to the first season of Big Brother US season 1. If you compare it too any of the newer seasons well then that's you're own fault and I can't deny that this season isn't really that exciting. The few fights that we have had have been tame and mostly fueled by alcohol. The alliances have been weak to say the least and there is a floater, a coattail rider and a Canada's choice returnee in the final five. Has it been a season driven by characters? No. Did Big Brother do to much to affect the game? Maybe, but probably not. We won't know the problem until they put together a season that does excite and entertain for the whole two months. For now we are left with the final five that could probably sleep there way through the last day.

In Memoriam
(Remembering the evicted house guest.)

Andrew

Old Man Andrew, the oldest of the men in the house and also the crankiest. Every time Talla did something ridiculous you would let her know and by the end you were just blatantly punishing her with insults. You won enough competitions to get you to the final five and if you wouldn't have relied on Jillian and Emmet as much as you did you could have made it further. You bro-love for AJ will go down in history as the weirdest showmance in Big Brother and the way that you always told it as it was, may not have helped you, but was quite admirable. You were my initial pick to win it all and I'm sad to see you go.

Head of Household
(The HoH has all the power in the house.)

Competition: What the Dunk?

The three remaining eligible players were each seated on dunk tank planks about a dunk tank full of freezing cold Canadian water. They had to remember nine pictures they had been shown earlier and answer true or false questions about them. If they got it wrong or answered to quickly they would be dunked, the person with the least amount of dunks or zero dunks would win the HoH.

(If you want to know the HoH competition winner highlight the space after winner.)
Winner: Jillian

Random Thoughts
(Here are some of my random thoughts.)

- The Andrew/Talla argument was the best fight of the season. The fact that they both had had a few beers made it even better. Andrew screaming stuff like "THAT'S HORSE SHIT" make me like him more and more.

- Just so everyone knows the Sheyld, spells there name with a 'y' "because, why not?" I wonder if they spell if they spell it Jury or Jurie?

- The Mom's were the best part of the episode. They both seemed to be amazing and supporting parents, especially Gina "Glitter."

- Talla definitely dropped an F-bomb on live TV.

- The Jury house segments are the worst because Talla and AJ are so boring. Alec and Peter were great when they were telling the other two about their alliance. I could watch days straight of Peter pretending to deal with Topaz now that they both have nothing to win or lose.

- Surprise eviction to get it down to 3 before next Sunday, live feeds shut down on Sunday and the last episode of Big Brother Canada After Dark is this weekend. Looks like they are gearing up for a pretty great season finalke. I hope.

Running Cast Grade: C
(Last Episode: B-)

(Grading the cast on an episode to episode basis.)

The Andrew and Talla was the best thing about the episode and the fact that it involved alcohol only proves my point that they should have been flooding the house with magic water. Instead we end up with a final four of Talla, Jillian, Emmet, and Gary. If Jillian or Emmet win the HoH I'm worried that neither of them will make the right move and get rid of the other and to see Jillian and Emmet in the final two would be very anticlimactic. With that said the only real good scenario would be if somehow Gary goes to the end with Emmet and Emmet wins, not only is that probably the best case scenario for fans , it seems the most likely. Hope fully we get some Survivor Season 1 Jury member speeches so that the finale is unforgettable.

Big Brother Canada Recap: Episode 25

Big Brother Canada Recap

Can Dan Spice Up The Game?

With five players left and really just two people controlling the house, the only way for change to happen is if Gary can seriously infiltrate Emmet and Jillian's alliance. At this point it looks like Andrew is on the outs with his alliance, Talla is a wildcard and Gary is desperate to stay and will do or say anything to accomplish that, so it is pretty much up to Emmet on how to manage the game. With Veto up for grabs and a special guest let's hope something big happens or at least something fun.

Power of Veto
(Winning the Power of Veto means you can change one of the nominations.)

Competition: The Price of Veto

Hosted By: Dan Gheesling

This week the Veto competition is an auction type game. Each player starts with 30 and will be offered a prize or a punishment with a coordinating point amount. To earn a prize the players would need to give up point and if you accept a punishment you will earn points. The person with the most points, after the nine offers, will win the Power of Veto. The twist is that the only person that knows who earned the prize/punishment is the person that hit the buzzer and every one else will learn after the competition.

Offers

1. Who is willing to cut up the clothes they are wearing for 5 points? (Winner: Talla) (Secondary Winner: Men of Canada)

2. Who is willing to be a Have Not for the rest of the season for six points? (Winner: Gary)

3. Who is willing to wear a prison suit and wear a ball and chain for a week to earn 7 points? (Winner: Gary)

4. Who is willing to give up 5 points for a season slop pass? (Winner: Talla)

5. Who is willing to stay awake 24 hours straight for 7 points? (Winner: Gary)

6. Who is willing to be the house bathroom attendant for the day to earn 6 points? (Winner: Jillian)

7. Who is willing to give up 9 points for $1000 cash? (Winner: Emmet)

8. Who is willing to not shower (or go into the pool/hot tub) for a whole week to earn 9 points? (Winner: Gary)

9. Who is willing to get a haircut of Big Brothers choosing for 11 points? (Winner: Andrew)

Winner: Gary

Ceremony: Gary used the Veto on himself and Emmet had to nominate someone in his place.
Nominees
(The two players currently nominated for eviction.)

Andrew - Old Man Andrew is getting crankier than ever and it probably has to do with his impending doom. Can you really blame him?

Talla - Could Talla be anymore useful? I don't think so, she might be the most suited person ever to be a pawn.

Special Guest Sleepover

Dan Gheesling

In order to build some drama and create some action Big Brother decided to send in the most schemingest player in Big Brother US history. And from what they've shown us, he does absolutely nothing except make the remaining five players to do stupid pranks to earn a red headband. He got Talla to jump in the pool, Jillian had to poor juice on herself while dancing seductively, Andrew had to kiss Jillian right in front of Emmet and Emmet had to impersonate Gary. All the tasks felt very high school-ish and if it wasn't for the last task I don't think I would have laughed this entire segment. The last task was Gary's and he had to poor water on the first person that fell asleep, which just so happened to be Talla. When Talla woke up and started stumbling around the house like a zombie I could not stop laughing.

Besides the pranks, all Dan seemed to do was to tell each player that they needed to make a big move. It seemed he tried to play everyone against Emmet since Emmet is the "biggest threat." He really just kind of told everyone what he thinks they should do with very little context from the season. Gary just can't get Talla to join him and then hope she wins the Veto(she hasn't won anything) and Andrew doesn't have any more moves since he pledge his allegiance to Emmet and Jillian. The whole thing seemed like maybe an attempt at a ratings boost or just trying to make the final five less boring.

Random Thoughts
(Here are some of my random thoughts.)

- The biggest and best twist would have been if Big Brother would have given Dan the permission to evict one of the house guests. At the very least let him give out the PoV or change one of the nominees.

- Dan was really trying to get in Emmet's head when he was there.

- Talla is ridiculous and I really don't think she knows what's going on most of the time. I also think she might be reading cue cards in the diary room or else she just has really active eyes.

- I don't know if the producers told them to play dumb about who won the Veto but as soon as Gary was told how many punishments he had compared to everyone else (Gary: 4 Talla: 1 Andrew: 1 Jillian: 1) they should have known immediately who won.

- Zombie Talla might be the funniest version of Talla we have seen so far.

Running Cast Grade: B-
(Last Episode: C+)
(Grading the cast on an episode to episode basis.)

Adding Dan Gheesling to your cast, even if just for the day, will always boost your grade. He came in for 24 hours and did his best to stir up trouble. The only problem with that is that none of the house guests(excluding maybe Gary) don't want trouble and would rather have a very simple final four alliance. Now that Dan has come and gone we are again left with the no fun bunch. At this point my only suggestion would be to get an endless supply of booze in there and have at least one more twist that keeps Andrew over Talla because if Andrew goes the possibility for drama drop considerably (unless of course Drunk Talla is there for the rest of the season.)

Big Brother Canada Recap: Episode 24

Big Brother Canada Recap

When Andrew Met Gary, Again

Now that Gary is back in the house you can be sure that he will do everything in his power to stir things up. The real big question though is will he be in the house long enough to actually change anything? Besides Emmet, Gary really doesn't have anyone that he could trust seeing as how Andrew got him out, Jillian lies to everyone and Talla still thinks Gary is just visiting. Look out Gary Glitter is back in the house.

Head of Household
(The HoH has all the power in the house.)

Emmet

Emmet won the HoH competition by putting together a puzzle faster than Gary, Talla and Andrew, earning his second reign as Head of Household(would have been third if he didn't get DQ'd). After the competition he started playing both sides rather quickly. He told Gary that they have options now that he's back in the game and at the same time tried to calm Andrew down by telling him the truth. Although both strategies backfired pretty quickly with Gary trying to get him to talk about getting Jillian out of the house while she was around the corner and when he told Andrew the truth, Andrew realized that he was as trusted as he thought and got pretty upset.

Nominees
(The two players currently nominated for eviction.)

Gary - I still can't figure out if Emmet is playing Gary or actually plans to take him to the final two but either way Gary has made it further than I think anyone expected and I have a feeling he won't care if he goes to the Jury house for a second time.

Andrew - Andrew, the old man, is about to lose his mind. At one point before Gary was re-introduced, Andrew said he would self evict if Gary came back(he has yet to do it). He is constantly annoyed by Talla and is probably on his last nerve. Now he also has the fact that his alliance isn't as faithful as he is and it is unlikely he will take that laying down.

Marcia The Moose

Marcia came alive this episode to scare the crap out of Talla, she also confused her with simple statements and made her revert to a childlike wonderment with the revelation that she couldn't tell anyone about her.

The mission that Marcia had Talla do was to set up an hour long talk show. She had specific tasks to accomplish in order to earn a reward for the house. Her first task was to do a two minute monologue, her second task was to find out an interesting fact that she didn't already know about each one of the other house guests and the third task was that after each fact she had to reply "I did not know that!"

Talla ran around the house and forced the cast to join her in the living room and actually telling Emmet that it could not wait and that he had to come now. It seemed that we were forsure in for our first fail of the season but I think the rest of the house kind of knew that it was a secret mission and went along with it in order to get a reward.

In the end Talla pulled it off and earned the house a night of fun and Talla-tini's. Talla and Gary were the only two that seemed to be excited for the alcohol.

WTF: Jillian Crazy Face
(Things I just can't explain.)

Mid-way through the episode we are shown a flashback to Peter and Jillian talking the day before Peter was evicted and Peter basically told her that if he was sent to the jury house then he would poison the whole jury against her. Now here is were it gets really good Jillian is obviously being threatened and she knows it so she tells Peter exactly what she thinks. While her emotions start to show we get to see a side of Jillian we have never seen before: The Jillian Crazy Face.

Best Quotes
(Here are some of the best quotes from last nights episode.)

3. "You're a prick." - Andrew to Emmet

2. "What's a monologue?" - Talla to Marcia the Moose

1. "Now when Talla finally wraps up this episode of Talking With Talla, you know, you get that sense of relief, like after you go to the doctor to get a rectal exam perhaps." Andrew in the Diary Room.

Random Thoughts
(Here are some of my random thoughts.)

- Talla has no chance of winning the game. The Jury will not vote for her to win and if she goes to the final two her best case scenario is second place.

- I give Jillian and Emmet's relationship one month when they get out of the house.

- Gary might have screwed himself by bringing up Jillian's name while she was in the HoH bathroom. Although he Jury house lies might give the house a reason to keep him.

- I believe out of every one Jillian knew the Talla Talk Show was a secret mission the whole time because as soon as Talla brought up the idea she was nudging Emmet and telling him they should go.

- I wonder how many producers had to tell Talla she couldn't tell the other players about Marcia. My guess is three.

- I don't know if Emmet know's any actual chess strategy but if he wins I will definitely start to play that certain board game a lot more in preparation for the next Big Brother Canada.

Running Cast Grade: C+
(Last Episode: C+)
(Grading the cast on an episode to episode basis.)

This episode was filled with Andrew complaining, Gary lying, Jillian and Emmet making out(I don't know if that happened because when they are on the screen together I usually tune out for a bit) and Talla not know what was going on. The talk show bit was boring, it dragged on for a little longer than necessary and if it wasn't for the couple of hilarious quotes from Andrew and Emmet would have been completely useless TV. Ladies and gentlemen get ready for at least two more weeks of you Big Brother Canada top five.
