T.T.T.TV. (April 29)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Norman Bates, Usher Raymond and Ted Mosby

1. Bates Motel (A&E 10/9c)

It looks like brother Bates is going to be looked at for a murder. Norma is going to lose Norman so she'll yell his name and it looks like the first guest at the motel will be as creepy as the people who run it. It's always nice seeing Wynn Duffy(Jere Burns) spread his wings and land on another TV show, hopefully his character is half of the one he plays on Justified.

2. The Voice (NBC 8/7c)

Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the knockout rounds. Each coach has eight singers left on there teams and will have to pair up two singers and pick a winner. The difference from the battle rounds is that the artists all pick their own songs and only learn who they are battling minutes before they have to go up. This is probably be some of the better performances of the season and I will be pretty mad if we don't actually see all the performances.

3. How I Met Your Mother (CBS 10/9c)

It's a surprise bachelor party for Barney! It looks like Ted and Marshall went all out and didn't skimp on anything. I wonder if Ted meets his future wife on this episode, probably not though.

I will be doing this post Sunday to Thursday because there is nothing good on TV Friday and Saturday. If you want to follow me on Twitter or send me some feedback follow me at @AJ_Trevor

T.T.T.TV (Feb.25)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

What's Better Than The Bachelor? What About a Parody?

1. Burning Love (E! 10/9c)

This is the series premiere of the Bachelor type parody show, where Ken Marino plays a firefighter who has been selected to become the next "bachelor." Ken Marino is one of the stars of Children's Hospital (a Grey's Anatomy parody) and if this show can play on the funny little things that CH does then I know this show will be hilarious. Plus the cast of women on it look amazing.

2. How I Met Your Mother (CBS 8/7c)

With all the skeptical bones in my body it's really hard to say this but, the writers of HIMYM are seemingly headed to reveal who the mother is by the end of this season. I will not hold my breath though, because that would be dangerous and what if I passed out and hit my head? Do you think Barney would care? (Oh, Monday TV...)

3. Being Human (Syfy 9/8c)

Since Monday TV is such a crapshoot Being Human has pretty much secured itself a spot in the top three. Now all the show has to do is get better and it will deserve it's spot. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad show. It's just all the story lines lately have been figuring themselves out in a matter of episodes. Can we get a season long arc?

T.T.T.TV (Feb. 18)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

What is on TV on Mondays?

1. How I Met Your Mother (CBS 8/7c)

This season hasn't been le-gen-wait for it-dary, and ever since it was renewed for another season the realization that in order to find out who the mother is you'll have to wait a whole other season. I think it would be cool if for the final season we get a sitcom where Bob Sagget (the voice of adult Ted) is the dad and the two kids he's been telling this 9 year long story too will have actual stories. They have shown us clips of the future before, why can't they have a whole season set there?

2. Being Human (Syfy 9/8c)

The ghost that is not a ghost anymore, but if she sees someone she new before she died they will die, runs into her brother this episode. Which means she has pretty much killed her brother. The only way she can think of stopping it from happening is to go see the witch. The witch doesn't take to kindly to them and that can probably only mean one thing Sally will give up being a not-ghost and go back to being a ghost to save her brother. (That is just a prediction and I have no actual knowledge, besides the clip, of what happens in this episode.)

3. Continuum (Syfy 8/7c)

The Syfy show is just entering the best episodes of the season. You are going to learn some things that make the show make so much more sense. If you still have not seen this show, find a way and watch the whole season now and hopefully you will be ready if they make a season 2.

T.T.T.TV (Feb. 11)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

No One Likes Mondays

1. How I Met Your Mother

It seems that before this show is over they are going to try and give Ted every possible stereotypical girlfriend. Last week it was the stalker, the week before that it was a young women who wants an older man. Where do they go from there, maybe a girl that isn't white. Maybe a blind women. Maybe a women with only one leg. The bad thing about this show is that I am almost positive that they have shown us each of those women. Come on guys can we just meet the mother already?

2. Being Human

The show about a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf living together is getting weird. First the ghost isn't a ghost anymore and if she sees anyone from before she died then they will die. The werewolf also isn't a werewolf anymore, but his girlfriend (that he turned) is one and so is the 15 year old orphan girl they have decided to take in. The vampire on the other hand is only the last vampire left in Boston because of a flu that affects humans and permanently taints their blood. Yeah, I just wrote all that and is sounds even crazier now that I think about it.

3. Continuum

The Canadian show airing on Syfy hasn't gained that much steam from it's new home and probably won't get a second season. So if you like to support Canadian television or just like good science fiction than find a way to check out this show.

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Canada's the Big Guest Star

1. How I Met Your Mother (CBS 8/7c)

Not only are we getting another look at Robin Sparkles but there are a lot of Canadian guest stars on this episode where we still wont find out who the titular mother is. Now that HIMYM has been renewed for another season there is no reason to believe they are going to let anyone know who the mother will be.

2. Continuum (Syfy 9/8c)

This show is set in Canada and made by Canadians. Since being picked up by Syfy, in the states, the possibility of a second season has jumped and I am literally holding my breath until they announce one. (I can't breath.)

3. Hawaii Five-0 (CBS 10/9c)

This weeks episode of Hawaii Five-0 is a remake of a episode from the 70's series. I never saw any of the old show so hopefully they give us a lot of flashbacks.

T.T.T.TV (Jan. 21)

Tonight's Top Three on TV

A Slow Night Calls For Kevin Bacon

1. The Following

The series premiere of this Kevin Bacon procedural gets a lucky break by having it's premiere on a day where there is nothing else really on. (Unless you watch Catfish or Bunheads then you'll have a good night.)

The premise is simple, a renown serial killer who uses Edgar Allen Poe as inspiration for his murders escapes from prison and only Kevin Bacon can catch him because he's an expert. Kevin Bacon finds and arrests the main baddie just to find out that he has a bunch of copy cats and disciples that he has been training. That's where Kevin comes in (again?) and I have to assume he will have to track all the trainee murderers.

2. How I Met Your Mother

Robin and Barney are engaged, Marshall and Lily are parents and Ted is dating another woman that might, but is probably not the mother of his children. The people in charge of this show have strung us a long for eight seasons and with this being (possibly) the last one anything could happen. I predict that they will get at least one more season and decide to again not tell us who the mother is until the end of that season. Those poor kids are never going to find out how Bob Sagat's voice met their mother.

3. Hawaii Five-0

The Five-0 team has to investigate the murder of a prostitute who is found in the house of a missing congressman. Dan-O also has to deal with the custody hearing regarding his daughter Grace.

Is this what this has come to already? Hawaii Five-0 has made the Top Three because this is a really slow TV night.
