Tonight's Top Three on TV

The Finale of Top Chef, the Premiere of Psych and a Sprinkle of Survivor 

1. Top Chef (Bravo 10/9c)

It's finally the finale and I am super pumped. Although the always stoned looking Sheldon got eliminated last week, the winner of last chance kitchen and returnee was Kristen (my second favorite).  Kristen has a lot of competition in the prodigy that is Brooke, so I am expecting one of the better cook offs in Top Chef history.

2. Psych (USA Network 10/9c)

Psych is a show about a psychic (a fake one) that helps his local police department solve cases. He doesn't do it alone, he has a sidekick and best friend (Gustard) who is always there to aid in the hijinx. I don't know if in it's seventh season it will lose any steam, all I know is that if you tune in you will be in for some of the best banter you have seen on TV.

3. Survivor (CBS 8/7c)

Last week the Honey Badger (Brandon) was released (with his uncles blood running through his veins) upon the game. In this weeks clip not only does he imply something bad is going to happen, he actually says that he is going to pee in the rice. What kind of Honey Badger pee's in his own food? The smart one, that's who. Anyways with the game seeming pretty even between the teams it looks like either Shamar or Brandon will be going home tonight for simply getting on their teams nerves.

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Working, Cooking and Surviving

1. Top Chef (Bravo 10/9c)

The first part of a two part season finale. We will learn who won the Last Chance Kitchen competition and find out what the final challenge will be. Almost nothing will be resolved in this episode but we will find out who is more confident. Will it be Brooke, Sheldon or the mysterious third competitor.

2. Survivor (CBS 8/7c)

The first episode proved that the favorites will not run away with this competition but if I had to put money on it I would still pick a winner from the favorites team. They are just so much more prepared then the fans. And if the fans suffer one loss in the immunity challenge I see all hell breaking loose at their camp.

3. Workaholics (Comedy Central 10/9c)

Blake gets ditched and ends up hanging out with Karl, the drug dealer, and his crew. He will really have to stretch his mind if he is going to hang with those G's for a whole night.

Survivor Is Back

1. Survivor (CBS 8/7c)

The new season of Survivor is Fan vs. Favorites and it looks like a great season. Some of the favorites coming back are Malcolm, from the last season, Cochrane, the ginger, Phillip, the crazy federal agent, and Brandon, the semi-christian. After watching the video of Jeff Probst assessing the teams, unless the favorites were to lose on prupose (in order to vote someone out) I don't think they can lose. One thing I know for sure is that I will be tuning for at least the first week.

2. Workaholics (Comedy Central 10/9c)

A new episode of Workcaholics means a whole new bag of laughs. Especially when you combine the three bros with Valentines Day and a little "pornog."

3. Top Chef (Bravo 9/8c)

This week the final three chefs get to go on a dog sled. I have no idea what that has to do with cooking but it's gonna be funny to see a Hawaiian and a Texan do snow sports.

Wednesday's all about the Family

1. Modern Family (ABC 9/8c)

It looks like another episode where Dylan and Hayley do something ridiculous and their parents try and stop them. Oh, the hijinx.

2. Top Chef (Bravo 10/9c)

Down to the top five. Sheldon is still there going strong and besides the Bacon man looks to be a front runner.

3. Workaholics (Comedy Central 10/9c)

"Sometimes, when you're a grandma, a month is all you got." - Durs

That quote says it all. Oh, and Durs has a gambling problem that cost him $80 and his grandma a month of cable.

Tonight's Top Three on TV

Russian, Seattle and Stoned Americans

1. The Americans (FX 10/9c)

A new series on FX about a couple who are KGB spies living as Americans. They have kids, a house and have to pretend to be a family in order to keep their cover. Kerri Russel plays the wife and Matthew Rhys as the husband. This show looks like it might be the best new show in 2013, and I can't wait to find out how many people Kerri Russel will kill.

2. Top Chef (Bravo 10/9c)

Josie is finally gone! There are five chefs left on the Seattle edition of Top Chef and the best have risen to the top. Sheldon, the Hawaiian/Asian chef, looks like he is the front runner and I'm hoping he can knock off the pompous Stefan, if not this week then before the Finale.

3. Workaholics (Comedy Central 10/9c)

Is the office haunted? Let Blake, Adam and Durs find out.

Family, Chefs and Workaholics

1. Modern Family (ABC 9/8c)

For the last couple of years the entire cast of Modern Family has been nominated for the Emmy's. It would seem like over kill if it wasn't for the fact that the entire cast deserves the nominations. This season especially the cast has been great but not just the adults, the thing that makes this family show great is that everyone of the kids is genuinely funny.

Last episode Gloria gave birth and the whole family was there for her. This week I would think we are going to see some of the troubles of raising a newborn but don't frett the rest of the family will obviously be there to help.

2. Top Chef (Bravo 10/9c)

Top Chef is one of my favorite reality shows on TV. It takes all the drama out of it and everybody just cooks. (Who am I kidding there is drama in every reality show.) There is definitely a lot of cooking. Each episode the chefs compete in two challenges, both earning the winner cash and sometimes advantages in the next challenge.

This season is based in Seattle and brings in some of the better chef's I have seen on this show. Plus if you need something else to look at while all the magnificent food is being prepared, the host is former super model Padma Lakshmi.

3. Workaholics (Comedy Central 10/9c)

Workaholics is about three friends that live and work together. Also they get high, drunk and blackout together. Last week they wanted to be the funniest people at a roast for a colleague so they planned a whole prank that involved the person being roasted to pull out a gun and take everyone hostage. After he pretended to kill one of the boys he went on to make other colleagues each boogers and shit in there pants. (That doesn't seem as funny when I am writing it down now.)

This week they will be in for a huge scare when they think a former employee is haunting the office. I can only assume that hi jinx will occur.
